Hate to sound like I have not looked into this, because I have. And I don't mean to sound ignorant for not figuring out a solution for this simple problem myself, but I am as amateur as it gets when it comes to modifications. I have looked up and down the forum, and I have not been able to find a provider for risers that are specifically made for the Savage. I am sure that I have just overlooked the info, so I am hoping one my fellow savage customizers could assist me. I did see that Bryan F. had made some himself, but it does seem that he has vaporized into thin air. I also noticed the low cafe' harley bar trick that John used, I thought it was interesting, but I am wanting the straight drag bar. So I have a couple of quetions...
1. Where might I find a set of 4 inch risers that fit my Savage? ( pretty basic question )
2. I noticed that some owners appear to have just used the stock risers and replaced the bars with a drag bar, does this cause problems of the bars turning into the tank?
3. Would it be easier to buy a copy of," Customizing for dummies", and just leave everbody alone.? Hope not.

I would appreciate any advice I can gather. At the current time I have my bike apart fixing the dreaded oil leak and am hoping to button it all back together with a bit of a style change. Gotta love the winter downtime.
Thanks in advance,
Rooster
